Well, Little Fascist Johnny has got it working here in Australia now too - person held for many days without charge on 'suspicion of terrorism' - the federal police admit they have no evidence of any kind, but they 'need to keep extending the period of detention' (original one in leglislation was 48 hours) apparently in the hope that they can find something (or even make something up!)...
