I am dairly certain that Iso-propyl Alcohol would give you a "positive" on most brethalysers as they test for the "=OH" (alcohol)Radical whether it would make you "drunk"? I for one dont know but I guarantee that, since one of its principle metabolites(if the body would metabolize it at all), would be Iso-propyl aldehyde which would give you a BASTARD of a hangover. How do I know this? I inhaled the vapour of isp-propyl aldehyde in the lab once by accident and had a 4 day headache and was pig-sick and off work for 3 of them!!!! It was, BTW, a reportable Industrial acccident
