Thread Name: Lyr Req: He walks with me and ...(In the Garden)
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: "In The Garden"
Yep; that's one of my favorites, too. Done it in Church a few times back when. I think It's a Fanny CROSBY tune, dating from around the 1880s.

I'm a little busy right now but will get back to ye. Do ye have the score? My scanner's on the fritz but I could prob'ly work it up on "Melody Assistant" if need be.

Here's a link to check in the meantime, Luv:

One of my fondest childhood memories is hearing Tenessee Ernie FORD sing "In The Garden" on one of his early albums - I still love it to this day. It may still be in print; check Amazon.com (or wherever) for T.E.FORD's "Sing a Hymn With Me"(?)

"I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses; And the voice I hear, falling on my ear, the Son of God dis-clo-o-ses; (Cho.)...And he walks with me, and he talks with me and He tells me I am His own; And the joy we share, as we tarry there.... None other... has ever.... known."
