Well, Steve (and Carol) if you use half a definition of a word I guess it can mean anything you want it to mean ala Humpty-Dumpty. However, if you complete the definition, as it is commonly used, to further define that these killings are done for the purpose of eliminating a group, racial or ethnic, then there is a quantum difference.
