Here, where I live, severely LD kids--kids who need a one-on-one aide are funded to the tune of about $18,000. A FT aide costs about $22,000, and getting kids that coding is a nightmare of hoops, dances and obstacles. It is all a bad dream. Been there, done that. Got the tears on my t-shirt to prove it.
