Not to distract too much from your book, but it looks like the puzzle was solved?

A few months back on trash day I stopped at a neighbor's pile of trash in the next block and picked up an open box of light fixtures (two dusty and tangled brass chandeliers). I have them listed on eBay right now. One just sold for $100 for the "Buy it now" option. I probably priced them too low, but considering my outlay, not bad. (I carefully cleaned, rearranged, photographed, packed, then wrote the ads, after buying four replacement prisms and a box of lightbulbs for about $14. One has 80 prisms, the one that just sold, 24. They're beautiful solid brass.) The other one is larger and if someone buys it at the "buy it now" price they will bring in $300, minus the eBay take, that I picked up on the street.

You know this isn't going to happen again any time soon, but it was a nice experience!
