Another superb house concert. David was just great. It was really good to spend some time with him and catch up on some goings on. Lots of good song and merriment. Thanks for Carrying Nelson Home. The food put out during supper was just spectacular. Some of Jacqui's chicken recipe with a few anchovies thrown in the mix was a tasty treat. Kendall, it was nice to see you hit the guitar during the evening....enjoyed it. Charlie and Judy...thanks for the book...now we have the real thing and an online copy.
I still thought that the blue shawl would have looked much better on me. However, it left on the owner's back. Nice car Kendall....all you need is Jacqui by your side, a Thompson sticking out of the side window and a few cases of hard booze in the stern cruising along the streets of Portland....a true American dream.
Mary....just spectacular....another fine evening with some very special friends in Portland. Thanks for your hospitality and sharing.
