Stan Rogers used to tell a story about Willie living in a closet in an apartment he shared with some other guys in the early days.

I'd have to agree with Jim that Willie's been wasting his talents playing backup to Fred Eaglesmith. Fred's a good songwriter and a very good entertainer, but, frankly, he's not in Willie's class as a songwriter.
