John: Even with all of the cleaning techniques described here, your old cartridge does have its limits and has probably reached the end. I've found that they're good for about 3 refills and then I have to start again. I was assuming that you were using the new one. By the way, Am I the first to forget to remove the tape from the new cartridge?
