I thought it was just me. You are so right about the slight bitter taste at first. Especially if its not cooked. I've been working with
my sister buying as many jars as we can find. I'm also going to try to
make it myself. I'll ask her what she thinks the bitter taste is.
Hmmm...... hot sauce without the heat? That can be bitter, and still tasty.
I've tried their sweet and sour and was not impressed.
