Thread Name: Songs About Lawyers or the Law
Subject: RE: Songs About Lawyers or the Law
A London broadside ballad called 'The Lawyer's Lament For Charing Cross', which begins:
'Undone, undone, the lawyers cry as they march up and down,
We know not the way to Westminster now Charing Cross is down.

So fare thee well old Charing Cross, fare thee well old stump,
Thou wert a thing put up by a king and so pulled down by The Rump.'
