I don't think I even knew there was a poetry competition! I caught the last half hour of the song comp. (It overran and we were in there next.) The standard seemed really high, and it was won by Jim someone, whose last name I didn't catch, but it was a song about the Normandy landings. A thin guy with grey hair in a pony tail - good singer, and a very poignant song.
