I've heard this crap since the middle 1960s, and face it, 15,000 "informants" in a country of 300,000,000 amounts to...are you ready for this?...0.000005 informants for every man, woman, and child in the US!! And if you don't believe me, get a calculator and do the math yourself: it's 15,000/300,000,000, or 15/300,000, or 1/20,000 of an informant per person.
