Aw, Bobert does need a dog. So does the P Vine. Dog won't have to be On Duty 24/7....but it might choose to. I for one do trust Bobert's instincts at the shelter/pound.

And, pssst, Bob...not all Border Collies are that demented. They just have to have a Job. If you don't provide one, they will find one and you probably won't like it. Mentioned above....Border Collie from 'pet stock'. Ha. Ha. Ha. IS no such thing. There ARE psychotic BC's....lots of them. Pets with NO job except tearing things up.

Please, please, please, don't get a Border for 'just a pet'. If I can't convince you, perhaps the author Donald McCaig can. Read 'Nops Trials' and 'Nops Hope'.

And, IMO, 'most' Labs are too friendly. Part of my problem with them.
