Michigan:      Southern? Not on my map.
Alabama:    ok
Louisiana: ok
Ohio:          Southern? I guess it is south of the Mason-Dixon line, but part of the Union during the Civil War.
Arkansas: . ok
South Dakota: Southern? Not on my map, either.
Mississippi:ok

Mostly Eastern, and a majority Southern.
