I hear what Dave is saying. The bullshit that gets spewed: "If this pub/bar/saloon/bingo hall/place becomes non-smokinhg, I'll never darken the doorway again." Yeah, right. Within a month people are darkening the door again. It looks like Canada may go completely non smoking except in one's car and in one's house. It's a completely unenforceable law, but it will have the effect of keeping secondhand smoke out of public areas, crowded streets, etc. I have no problem with it despite having been a smoker for 47 years. I do think some of it is chickenshit two-faced. Bust a guy for having a smoke while watching a diesel truck go by just belching out fumes, but we live in an imperfect world. Sometimes ya just have to suck it up deal with it. Now, if we could get a law passed restricting the use of Axe deodorant I would get on the nearest table and throw my g-string (if I had a g-string to throw if I had a table). But I don't think that'll happen anytime soon. That's my bitchin' for the day.
