In answer to your questions, we really did drive through Dover a couple of weeks before the anniversary.   Dover is a channel port town in Kent, a base for the cross-channel ferry to Europe. We went on a holiday to the Austrian Tirol, and very beautiful it was. And of course we went through Dover again on the way back.   Elaine did not wear a grey bonnet, but a baseball cap with a flower on it, and looked very good in it. These really are our golden years.
