Actually, Skarpi, it's just that I'm familiar with both versions of the English-language "GALWAY BAY"-- the nice version and the parody version.I heard the parody version, the one with the tattooed map of Ireland, first, actually.
And unfortunately I don't know anyone in Iceland. Excepting you now, of course. It's a place I'd love to visit. We've a good friend of Icelandic descent who, when he's had a few too many beers, mutters something about "collecting fingernail clippings as a sacrifice to Loki," but we never take him too seriously when he claims that as an authentic pagan tradition....
