Ummmm, first of all, I won't "buy" any dog... Nope, with the expense of havin' one around they better come as freebees...

So we did go to Leesburg today and we talked with some folks who know all about dogs...

But this was after picking up my mom, who lives there, and meeting my brother for lunch and the topic came up... Seems that an ol' friend of the family has a white German Sheppard puppy... He has always owned German Sheppards and is a great trainer... I believe the puppy might not be spoken for but won't know until my brother gets a hold of our friend...

The best dog I ever had was a white German Sheppard... I found her under the old armory in Richmond (don't ask why I was there...) and she was about 3 years old, stray, etc... Wonderful dog...

As fir a puppy??? Yeah, I know that puppy's can be a pain-in-the-butt but I think if we are going to be able to 1.) train it and 2.) get it to coexist with our cats then a puppy is going to be the best scenerio.... Fortunately, we both have patience......
