In response, Google created a black version of its search engine, called Blackle, with the exact same functions as the white version, but obviously with lower energy consumption: Help spread the word... use Blackle

To change your Google Page to the black version:

Select: Tools, Options, Homepage, insert http://www.blackle.com/ OK.

Then your home page will automatically open using Blackle



Oh, perhaps some caution should be used in case it is just a data mining site that gives nasty trojans....
