How does a government "produce wealth"?

If you mean because it can print money then, well .... holy shit.   I guess in the game of life you are playing Chess, while I'm engaged in Parchesi -- 'cause I don't even know how to discuss further if you think that printing money is creating wealth.

And if it is "producing" it, then what in the hell are taxes for?
