Amos, You're saying to build a cash reserve. Do you mean cold hard cash in hand? My $ is in CD's. Is it a given that FDIC will fail--it does seem they'd be unable to cover all of those investments.
Where is Jimmy Stewart when you need him? He stopped a bank run.
I _just_ renewed my IRA for another year--some other CDs have a couple of years to go before coming due.On these I'd lose 6 months interest for early withdrawal. ?????????????
