Bobert! Oh I hope you get tha White Shepp puppy. My dear departed Puppers was a white shepherd. Look:

Puppers the Magnificent & Brave with my niece Jaelita

When he was a puppy, in order to tire him out we gave hom a tire with a rope so he could pull it around the yard! Sheps love to work and can be easily taught to chase off pesky creatures.

Just be prepared for silly people to constantly ask you if he is a wolf or a coyote or to try and convince you he can't possibly be a pure bred. White is a naturally ocurring coat color among sheps but cannot be shown in dog shows. I got tired of explaining Puppers' breed and crednetials so I just reverted to telling people he was an Alsatian which seemed to satisfy them.

I hope you get him Bobert! Puppers was the best dog we ever had and every owner of a white shep usually says the same. tempermentally they aren't any different from other Sheps but their unique color gets them a lot of attention from friends and neighbors which can help with their socialization. Our dog was so popular that he had friends we didn't even know about!

Shepherds really can'ty be beat.
