Amazing performers, live they are worth the price of 10 CDs. Dave's voice is angelic, but don't discount Bill's voice either. The patter is side-splitting, the warmth of their presence better than a well-stocked fire in the middle of winter, and as people they are the most unassuming and gentle folk, as far as I can tell from the times we chatted. Someone called them "Lincolnshire's best kept secret" and they're right.

This summer they're supposed to be doing one of my songs, and I can't wait to hear it - Dave told me they were in the final stages of rehearsal some 3 months back. Unfortunately we are not due to be at any festivals together this summer, so I may have to wait; but I know it'll be worth it.
