"See You At The Hall" by Susan Gedutis pub. in 2004 by NU Press is such a great read for anyone whose's interested the recent (& not so recent) history of the development of Irish dance & music in the New England area. It focuses on the Boston area in general & spans the the 40's to the early 60's though it covers much from the turn of the century onward.
