Hi Dave, I didn't catch the whole thing but I heard one track from a Tommy Makem CD (great of course, but the presenter mispronounced his name) and one track from Oysterband with a notice that they would play in Leeds in September. And lots of chatter. The folk acoustic-slot in Sandie's evening show is just part of the whole, and is not listed or advertised as a folk show, can't be heard again, and doesn't cover local performers or events.
In short, no replacement for the Old North Yorkshire Folk.... BUT at least Sarah Drummond has been replying to all e-mails and has even spoken on the phone with others who made their views known.

...and so I am hoping that more clamour for a real folk show with an appropriate presenter might eventually bring results.
