Glad to read that Warwick University still has a folk club. I ran it for some of my time there (1970 - 74). Got into trouble with the Ents Secretary when my ambitious booking policy coincided with a drop in attendances and we lost money ... but I remember booking Dick Gaughan, Boys of the Lough, Jasper Carrot, Harvey Andrews, Dave Burland, Jeremy Taylor, Martin Carthy, Gasworks (remember them?) and lots more. Frequent visitors included Sean Cannon.
We also had a lively folk dance club. And then just up the road we had the folk club at the Virgins and Castle pub.
