Got home in the early hours of the morning having stayed late to see the Unthank girls in concert.

They just get better and better everytime I see them and I was there when Rachel sang her first song in public (one she pinched from her dad of course).

In a hot crowded room they brought a freshness to the tradition that won the hearts of everyone there. The musicianship was superb, the interpretation refreshingly different and the clog dancing so professional that nobody could fail to realise just how long Rachel and Becky had been around the folk scene.

Apologies to Tony Hall and Trio Threlfall but these 4 girls were the highlight of the concert for me. If you haven't yet seen them - you should.
