Whispering in C, is for the most part---C (for quite a while, fool with > inversions and up the neck stuff), A7, D7,G7,C
Like I told him the Ragtime stuff has some weird chords in it, you just never know what might fit. And try 9ths instead of 7ths, sometimes they sound better.
