Got back from my week away about four hours ago ... and wouldn't you believe the change in the weather yesterday??? Highlights for me were... first choice,same as Moira ...Sam Lee and Michael Wright's version of The Jews Garden at the Football Club In the Tradition concert on Weds (??) - an absolutely stunning and intense performance, which took the breath away from audience, and (talking to both later in the week) from the performers as well ... the films in the Museum Lecture room (just as last year)..Finbar Wall's rendition of his "Gout" song, the Four Star Trio, and any and every of the In the Tradition concerts (but particularly the closing night one!!) Now all I need is another week to recover from singing away until stupid o'clock even on the night when I should have been packing to get out of the flat before 10 am in the morning!!!
