The parent signed an agreement that if her daughter was KILLED, she could not sue but she is complaining about sunburn? Sorry - but Children's Protective Services should investigate all the parents. Who, in their right mind, would put an eight year old in this setting for $5000? For that matter, who puts a teenager in a situation where he/she has no privacy? And how does that $5000 equal "volunteers"?
