That is not the basic premise of the show, leeneia. The basic premise of the show is to see if kids can build a society. I won't watch it because the idea doesn't appeal to me, but let's not forget how unreal "reality" tv is. And let's also not forget as mentioned before that their parents signed off on all this at the very beginning.
