The reason she probably doesn't see her nose(s) is that our brains generally process that out of the image we percieve. In the same way, you aren't aware of the frames of eyeglasses in use, or small retinal defects, or the fact that your brain has entirely flipped the image you see upside down! There's alot of natural image "photoshopping" going on.
