I've been enjoying discovering that there is a limit on human speed that is common to all sports, all music, all activities. I'm not talking about the limit on how fast one may travel across land, space, or water (for example), but about the speed at which human legs and arms can move to cause that propulsion. I'd guess the limits are partly limb mechanics liomits and partly brain/muscle-impulse limits, plus of course aerobic limits.

Beyond that limit, in music, there's only MIDI.
