We knew Col for a lot of festivals where i've MCed or we've stewarded and he finally made our Whitby week barbecue this year ('cos it was my 60th party as well).
Got the news from Alan Cox (Fylde) yesterday when we were at the Black Bull bender. We sang a farewell to you. Totally stunned. You were a good man Col - the best & we shared a lot of happy pre and post festival times together. You went too soon and its hard to take in.
