APOLOGIES to anyone who, like me, turned up at The Abbey on Monday evening for the advertised singaround and found the pub shut. Martin, the landlord, was most apologetic last night, but they'd lost the water, possibly something to do with the major water-main burst in Leeds. So he had no washing facilities, no toilets, not even the chance to water the beer.
Tonight, however, there are sessions at The Chemic, The Grove and The Wrens.
