I won't be able to make the trip across the pond, but it is not from lack of desire that this is so. Col, judging from these posts, was one of those giants that occasionally tread the path, touching all that come within the sacred circle of his presence, and leaves them feeling the warmth that only great hearts possess. Were I able to be there, I would certainly sing a song that ere I have only sung once publicly, at the funeral of my best friend. And that would be Dave Carter's "When I Go", which I became aware of from Jeri. It is a stunning lyic, and I would have been honored to sing it for all of you on behalf of this gentle giant of a friend. I commend to all of you, as you ponder, in this time of sorrow, the frailties of this life, the last verse of this wonderful song:
