3. Do you have a favorite color? Not really. Much of my clothing is in the blue range, and I look best when wearing bright jewel-tones. Yellows and oranges make me look sickly.

4. favorite authors/ type of book? Folktale collections, wonder tales (stories with magic), humor (love Berkley Breathed ["Bloom County"], Gary Larson ["The Far Side"], Walt Kelly ["Pogo"])

5. what books have you really been wanting? I want for nothing -- surprise me. The answer above was just to give you a general sense of my character.

6. what type of music do you like? traditional story-telling ballads, light opera, operetta, Celtic, East African, Brazillian, Beattles, Three Dog Night, Classical, Early twentieth century American Popular Standard (20's and 30s')... almost anything in moderation, though some I can listen to for longer before I lose patience.

8. What movies have you been wanting? (specify DVD or VHS) Don't have a video player of either sort.

9. what is your t-shirt size? For day wear, Medium/Large (prefer long sleeves). I love to wear X-large-long tees as "jammies" to sleep in.

10. do you collect anything? if so, what? Crazy ideas and half-baked, crackpot hypotheses...

11. what are some of your other hobbies? Drawing and doodling, writing, making up occassional songs.

12. do you prefer gold-tone or silver-tone jewelry? Don't wear jewelry; a pretty stone found alongside the road is more likely to get an "oooh -- Shiny!" response from me.

13. please include anything else you feel is important that would help your Secret Santa know what you would like. I consider myself a proud intellectual (if pressed, I prefer the word "Geek" to "Nerd"), but I also adore much of popular culture, including kids' Saturday Morning television cartoons. My sense of humor is quirky and child-like, my spirituality is a unique blend of Neo-Pagan polytheism, Quakerism, Quantum Physics and 11 secret herbs and spices. I might also be an atheist, depending on your definition of the word "god."
