Ah, Gurney.... I have no fond rememberances of those days - I am not the maternal type (unless it's a young, nubile 20yr old lad who needs comfort and succour) so never had any trouble with nostalgia of that type.

What I do miss is the happy little thing that would willingly come when I called, pick up things when she dropped them and spend more time on her bike than on a computer.

I just know she's going to 'big' school to learn more bad teenager habits....!
