I am sorry Jane, we're a little nuts around here......Shanties are mainly acapella, but I know that some folks use instrument accompaniment to them, but I really don't know of a formalized banjo book as such. Perhaps someone else does. I'll message a coup;e of our shanty members and see if they can check in on this thread for you.

In the meantime.............did y'all ever make up verses to that thing? Like, "My sweet Carmelito looks like Phil Esposito, NO-NO-NO---O-O."
