I am certainly a Rick Fielding fan - and in fact I feel a much deeper connection.

I thank Rick for getting me off the dime and into music as a full time, life's work. His thoughtful comment and earnest direction (perhaps I should say instruction) formed my new life plan and I follow it to this day. No one but Rick could have hit the mark so perfectly and I will be ever grateful for his "blessing" to me.

And even though I know he made that same sort of "blessing" on many many others, in many many ways - I count myself lucky for his gift.
