Thread Name: Favourite closure/closing songs
Subject: RE: Favourite closure songs
Rick Fielding's "When We Gather Once More" is on the
Mudcat CD Sampler: Violet
along with a good (non-chorus) song by Jeri (Wings Of A Song) and a recording of
Hard Times Come Again No More by Kim C.

The Mudcat CD Sampler: Orchid> has some appropriate "closing songs" too:
All The Good People - Sandy Paton
If It Wasn't For The Song - Harvey Andrews
Mingulay Boat Song
Why We Sing - Jeri
The Parting Glass - Big Mick with The Conklin Ceili Band
and - for 'that' kind of closure: Sing With The Angels - Rick Fielding

On the
Mudcat CD Sampler: Plum we have Kendall Morse singing Gently Down The Stream Of Time - also a good one for "closure" beyond just the evening in question. Also "Last Letter Home" by Kim C (Kim Caudell).

The has a couple that fit as closing/closure songs:
This Time Again - Karen K
Handful Of Songs - Jerry Rasmussen
Harmony (One Out Of Many) - Jeanene Pratt
The Song - Harvey Andrews (reprise)

And on
Mudcat CD Sampler: Rose there's a really good close-the-session song called "Fill One Room" by Midchuck.

(Can you tell I'm pimping the Mudcat CD Samplers?) :-D
