Thread Name: Causley-Papavgeris duet on JC's new CD
Subject: Causley-Papavgeris duet on JC's new CD
It's in the public domain, so I can brag about it now... Jim Causley's new album "Lost Love Found" is due for release on 8th October 2007 on the Wild Goose label (WGS348CD), and the tracklist and sleeve notes are on the label's website. Jim did not just include one of my songs on the album ("Traitor's Love", a song that was indeed inspired by a mudcat conversation and was first published on Mudcat), but he and his collaborator, the multi-talented James Dumbelton, did a wonderful arrangement of it, one I could never have thought of myself; the creative power of the performer at work once more. And to cap it all, he kindly invited me to sing the song with him on the album (it's a duet, a conversation between two people of opposing political views).

A snippet of the song is available here and the sleeve notes are here.

I have not yet listened to the whole album, but I did get a butchers' at some of the tracks on it and it's a corker. Honoured to have put my little pebble into such a project.
