A few years back, when Hull City were at their absolute worst (relegated by February -- Jesus Christ) visiting fans used to serenade us with a rousing chorus of "Going down, going down, going down." To which the response was "So are we, so are we, so are we."

Also, the self-deprecation of the supporters of the club from the largest city in the UK never to have had its team in the top division shone through with an occasional rendition of "We're shit, and we know we are."

Other favourites included "Can we play you every week?" when getting absolutely twatted by clubs from higher divisions in the FA Cup, and "Are you watching, Grimsby Town?" on the rare occasions when we won.
