Now, if you want to get the rest of that voice out, stick a couple fingers down your throat (best cover 'em with Vaseline first). Fish around down there until you grab onto it and pull 'er up! If it isn't your voice, toss 'er back -- this is catch and release stuff.

Alternately, go down to one of them touristy-type shops (they're all over Maine, so you won't have to go far) and get one of those tiny little lobster traps they sell as earrings or ornaments for the Christmas tree. Tie a good stout string to it, bait 'er up, and swallow it (tie the free end of the string around your ear). Ever so often, haul 'er in and see what you've got.

Now these are called "alternative medical therapies" and they're pretty much ignored by mainstream medicine. So don't tell your doctor.
