Having been an Old-TIme fan and player since the 60's, I can't say that I have favorite songs and musicians. Sometimes I find a great song played by someone that I can't stand, and some of my favorite musicians did some really bad songs. But my favorite musicians, the oncs that have imfluenced my playing are: Grandpa Jones, Stringbean, The Blue Sky Boys, Wilf Carter, The Crook Brothers, Dr. Humphrey Bates, Hobart Smith, Lee Moore, The Carter Family, Ernest Stoneman, Cliff Carlisle, ALfred Karnes. And lots more.
