Well weren't we fortunate with the weather... strolling along to the meery strains drifting out of the pubs- all the sessions seemed to be worth listening to... Ken, Sue, Bernie and I say a big Thank You to all who attended our concert in the town hall- there was a wonderful atmosphere because despite the mayors glaring down at us, everyone was prepared to sing! I gather from Martin that the 'Maritime' refers to the location, not specifically to the content required, though I think most of us hunted out our saltiest numbers and gave them an airing... Enjoyed the Gundulf Shirt Session, and my optician says I'll be OK any day now... next year, the Rochester Fishnet Dance?
