I have just obtained a copy of Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. It is complete and not in bad shape. I can't find a publishing date. 1st and 2nd pages are blank. The first page with writting says Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson has a picture of a lantern, then it has a quote "With the wind of God in her vesture,proclaiming the deathless, ever-soaring spirit of man." Locke.
At the bottom is says The Goldsmith Publishing Company, Chicago Ill. Made in U.S.A. Plus a copy of their logo at the bottom. How old? Or how do I find out?
