many years ago a very wise lecturer I knew said " Usually you will find you haave a choice with jobs, between a job that will pay you a lot of money and bore the pants off you, as well as being horrible dealing with horrible nasty people most of the time, but it will however, pay you well so you can do the things you want to do in your time off. On the other hand is the kind of job that is satisfying in itself, in which you will have a sense of pride and fulfilment, and a feeling that you are contributing to the general good and helping others to do so too, The draw back is that it will NEVER pay you much money. given this choice I advise you to take the second, as you spend a lot more time at work than at leisure and option one can be very soul destroying, you might easily end up rich but very unhappy, and be an unpleasent money grabbing person that knows the price of everything and the value of nothing." and you know, he was right!!!!
