This one has moments of real beauty, I think:
============================

Digging in a cave in a ravine,
For a pit out,
A miner, forty more niner
And Klementine lived its daughter.

OH, my favourite, OH, my favourite,
OH, my sweet Klementine,
Lost and gone, terrible sad
Thou art always, Klementine.

Light was it and like a fee,
And it shoes was No. nine,
Herring boxes witout top sides sand,
As for Klementine were.

It drove Entlein to the water
To each morning straight with nine,
Gerodet of their toe after a fragment,
Fell into the foaming salt solution.

Carmine lips over the water,
Burning through gushes softly and finely,
But I was not unfortunately a float,
Therefore lost I mean Klementine.

There is a Kirchhof on the upward gradient,
In that the flowers grows and twine,
Waxes, fertilizes roses,
Under the posies from Clementine.

============================
I think "Carmine lips ... Burning through gushes softly and finely" is a great improvement on the original, and doubtless Professor Tolkien's Ents would be overjoyed to know that there were once again little Entlings in middle-earth.
